Baby Steps

Your goal is too big. Really. You can't do it in one attempt most of the time. That goal you've laid out is just far too big to attain. Break that big goal into a few smaller goals, though, and you're on the right track. Why aim to increase your revenue to $10k per month when it's only going to leave you disappointed and frustrated for years before it might ever happen? Instead, set 6-month goals that get incrementally larger. Maybe you aim to be earning an average of $4k per month in 6-month's time. When you reach it, bump it to $5k.

Repeat until you're there. Don't try to jump to the end; take baby steps.
